Dynasty Club Racing Rules
Club rules
The name of the club is Dynasty Racing Club (the “Club”). The Club confers on its Members (for the duration of their membership of the Club) certain benefits, including invitations to exclusive events, insights and introductions within the British Racing industry.
The Club is run and administered by Great British Racing International (“GBRI”).
Agreement to these Rules
By completing and submitting your application for membership of the Club, you agree to be bound by these Rules.
Conditions of Membership
Membership shall be valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date the nominee is notified by GBRI of their successful application.
Entry Requirements
In order to qualify for membership of the Club, each nominee is required to complete the membership form and demonstrate to GBRI that they have invested at least £6,000 in the British Racing industry in the past twelve (12) months (the “Initial Investment”).
Membership Renewal
In order to maintain membership of the Club, each Member is required to demonstrate to GBRI that they have invested at least £1,000 in the British Racing industry in each subsequent twelve (12) month period (the “Annual Investment”).
The Initial Investment and/or the Annual Investment can be comprised of any combination of the following: the purchase of horses (or shares of); and/or training or boarding fees; and/or hospitality at British racecourses,
All information submitted to GBRI to demonstrate a nominee’s Initial Investment, or each subsequent Annual Investment of a Member shall be kept confidential and shall not be used except for the purpose of validating the investment and administering the Club Committee and will not be disclosed in whole or in part to any third party.
Club Committee
The Club Committee is comprised of the Chair, Deputy Chair and four Committee members.
In order to be considered for a position on the Club Committee, each Member should ensure they declare their total investment in the British Racing industry on application or at each subsequent renewal as such positions will be directly linked to the value of the Initial Investment and/or Annual Investment.
The Club Committee shall be appointed from all eligible members on an annual basis on 1st January and the Committee members will be allocated, at the discretion of GBRI, by reference to the last submitted Initial Investment or Annual Investment of each Member. The Member with the highest Initial Investment or Annual Investment, as declared to GBRI, will be appointed to the Chair, the second highest to the Deputy Chair and so on until all the Committee positions are filled.
The Club Committee are encouraged to recruit new members, and are rewarded by being granted complementary access to Club events, at the discretion of GBRI.
Termination of Membership
Any Member may terminate their membership by notifying GBRI from time to time.
Where a Member fails to meet the Annual Investment at their annual renewal, their membership shall terminate immediately.
Any infringement of these Rules and/or any additional Rules as notified to the Club Members by GBRI from time to time may result in the immediate termination of membership.
General
Any personal information that you provide to the Club and/or GBRI will be processed in accordance with the Club’s Privacy Notice, which is available to view on the following pages or by request.
Membership of the Club is at the sole discretion of GBRI and it reserves the right to refuse Membership.
As a Member of the Club, the Member agrees to conduct themselves in a professional and business-like manner, treating other Members with respect at all times. The Member shall not make any defamatory or derogatory statements or take part in activities in any manner which might be considered to be derogatory or detrimental to the reputation of the Club, GBRI or the sport of horseracing. If the Club should receive a complaint about any Member’s behaviour, it reserves the right to suspend Membership.
These Rules and any additional Rules may be changed, varied or revoked by GBRI and any change variation or revocation of the Rules and/or additional Rules shall be deemed to have been brought to the notice of the Members and take immediate effect by emailing details of such change.
No failure or delay by either party in exercising any of its rights under these Rules shall be deemed to be a waiver of that right, and no waiver by either party of any breach of these Rules by the other shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
The validity, construction and performance of these Rules (and any claim, dispute or matter arising under or in connection with them or their enforceability) and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. All parties (including all members) irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales over any claim, dispute or matter arising under or in connection with these Rules or their enforceability or the legal relationships established by these Rules (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
