Great British Racing International (GBRI) has today (Monday) launched the first episode of a new video series titled ‘Be A Part Of It: Owning In Britain’.

The five-part series, which aims to drive future international investment into British racing, will showcase the various aspects that make owning a horse in training in Britain a uniquely enjoyable experience.

Blue Diamond Stud homebred NASHWA (GB) built upon a fine third-place finish in the Gr.1 Oaks at Epsom earlier this month with a victory in the French equivalent, the Gr.1 Prix de Diane at Chantilly, on Sunday afternoon. NAVAL CROWN (GB) led home a 1-2 for Godolphin, Charlie Appleby and DUBAWI in the £1million Gr.1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes on Saturday afternoon, reversing the result of last year’s Group 3 Jersey Stakes, won by stablemate CREATIVE FORCE. The result represented a 50th Group 1 winner for Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum’s cornerstone sire at Dalham Hall, Newmarket.

INSPIRAL (GB) went one better than both her dam and her great grand dam as she proved herself to be the best filly in Europe and, quite possibly, the world, with a brilliant victory in a red-hot international renewal of the £500,000 Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Ascot Racecourse on Friday.

Yorkshire breeder Deborah O’Brien landed her first Royal Ascot success when BRADSELL (GB), who cost just 12,000 guineas as a yearling and £47,000 as a two-year-old, proved much too strong for a top-class line-up in the most prestigious juvenile race of the Royal Ascot meeting, the £150,000 Group 2 Coventry Stakes, at Ascot Racecourse on Tuesday.
